Empanada Mania - Bergenfield

My favorite was the Guava Cheese but the Angus Beef was good too. I wasn apos;t a fan of the bug

I sampled five empanadas and the Rice, Beans, Cheese one was my favorite by far - absolutely phenomenal. The Cheese and Bacon Cheeseburger empanadas were also quite good. The Chicken Quesadilla was described as being filled with chicken and cheese, but it also had a taco seasoning that wasn't very tasty. As for the Buffalo Chicken empanada, it was just terrible. The flavor was so unpleasant that I couldn't even eat it.

The beef on the rice bowl was excessively salty. I couldn't eat it as it was too unhealthy. It was a waste of money.

This place is out of there minds empanadas are mexican peasent food 12.00 for 3 empanadas NO WAY TOTAL RIPP OFF

I would recommend sticking to the empanadas at this restaurant - they are really good. However, the Chicken Rice Bowl was disappointing. It consisted of three dry chunks of chicken cubes with some seasoning, but it lacked any additional flavor or appeal.
