This is the cheapest, tastiest meal I had while in Bergen. There are a variety of different fish cakes and soups, and the staff speaks English and can help...
I ordered the daily dinner (fish cake, carrot mousse, and roast potatoes) and fish soup, and the total cost was about 280 kroner. To be honest, the fish cake is just kamaboko, but it was delicious and locals even took it out to eat while walking around. However, the fish soup is delicious. The taste is similar to clam chowder soup, but it has vegetables and kamaboko balls inside, which gives it a great flavor. It might have been the best thing I ate in Norway. The main dishes are quite voluminous, so I was pretty full with the soup daily dinner (I'm an adult male in my 20s). I think it's best for two people to go and share two main dishes and a soup. Please be careful as it closes early. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice place for a quick and cheap lunch in an area full of expensive places. I had some fish soup but I was disappointed as there was not so much fish taste in the fish soup.
