The Royal British Legion Legionnaire Club

Visited the legion in Bovington for breakfast and it was very nice, beautiful and clean along with fantastic service. I was hoping to check out the new restaurant as friends have raved about the transformation but the room was booked out for hire for a private event. I will definitely be back again soon.

Great little bar doing a good selection of meals and snacks

We attended the first car boot sale and there's another one scheduled for the end of July. The bar is a fantastic venue, although you can't access it at the moment. The outdoor area is lovely, featuring seating outside.

The venue is pleasant and well-organized, featuring a nice garden for outdoor relaxation. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired, with a noticeable lack of enthusiasm and a dismissive attitude from the staff. Additionally, patrons are required to pay a membership fee of £5 a month or more just to enjoy drinks there, which seems unreasonable, especially for current members of the Armed Forces. The food service ended at 5 PM, and the only alternative offered was Scampi Fries, so I can’t comment on the food itself. The bar staff were unfriendly and seemed indifferent. I will definitely not be returning. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. What a shame.
