Salzbergwerk-Bergschanke

During the tour in the salt mine stopped. good for a beer, but eating and service was nothing to write home. the pommes were very good.

Fast lunch before my tour. that was great. the service was average. there was only one waitress who had to deal with the entire restaurant. fortunately we sat next to the bar, so it was easy to signal her when we needed something. carving and kartoffel. salad were delicious. dessert was also good.

We have here a short bit before our tour through the saltmine. Eating was ok, and they have accommodated us for our tour née. not thought to be unusual, but very acceptable; outside seats too.

Unhelpful, rude staff. Get a coffee here for sure, but keep it to a minimum and enter with low expectations. You won't then be disappointed!

My husband, parents, and I visited the salt mine on our way back from Salzburg to Germany. I had heard about the salt mines from a friend who suggested it as a great side trip from Salzburg. We were not disappointed! Since we were on...a timeline, I ordered the tickets ahead of time. We showed the barcode from the tickets (on my phone) and were able to walk right in. There was a bit of a line for people who didn't purchase tickets ahead of time. I would suggest buying ahead. The tour was great! It was in German but there were audio guides in other languages. It was easy to find, park, and understand what to do. We had a great time!
