Las Palmas - Bentonville

We had a group of nine and were first seated at a table that could only comfortably accommodate six. We asked to be moved to a larger table, which they did, but not very graciously. Placing our order was frustrating; it took several attempts because they either didn't understand our requests or weren't paying attention. My son-in-law couldn't finish his meal, claiming it was terrible, and my beans and rice were cold. Others in our party faced various issues with their meals as well. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

I really enjoy the atmosphere and its proximity to our home. We returned recently and had a great experience with the food. I particularly love the chicken burrito. Their drinks are quite good as well!

Another minor issue was when a TV show that wasn't suitable for kids was playing, and despite asking multiple times to have it changed, I can't recall if they ever addressed our request. Despite these few drawbacks, they are the only negative experiences I can remember from years of dining here. I've never received a wrong order, and the food has consistently been good. When an issue does arise, the staff is usually eager to help resolve it. Their takeout service is excellent as well; everything is nicely packaged, and the people at the register are friendly and accommodating. One of the greatest things about this place is their willingness to make adjustments to orders at little to no extra cost. Every time I order a combo, I typically switch a beef burrito for a bean burrito and change any enchiladas to cheese enchiladas, plus I ask for cheese sauce on everything. They've always been incredibly kind and haven’t charged me for these changes! This is definitely one of my favorite aspects of the restaurant—their helpfulness and flexibility. Plus, the prices are reasonable, particularly considering the quality of the food. Keep in mind that every restaurant—and everyone—can have an off day. So if you happen to have a less-than-stellar experience, I encourage you to keep an open mind and give it another try!

Consistent. We visit this restaurant quite frequently. They serve delicious queso and tasty salsa. The only variable is the chips; sometimes they're great, while other times they're just okay. The upside is that when they're good, they're fantastic, and even when they're not, they're still better than many other chips around. It's not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it's reliably enjoyable. They recently implemented Kids Eat Free nights on Mondays and Saturdays, which my kids really enjoy. Although, they might be more excited about the gumball machine!

The food is delicious and the people who work there are do friendly. They make sure you are taken care of.
