Restoran Wonderland Valley Táo Yuán Gǔ Měi Shí

Nice place to have a peaceful lunch outdoor with the sounds of river flow. Food was OK, not bad. The sweet sour pork on ice was a little dissapointing as the ice melted very quickly and meat soaked in water. The deep fried chicken was a little dry. Fish was superb, had a very good sauce. Curry boar was also a good dish.

It’s at a rather remote location and you will have to cross a bridge to get to the restaurant. For first timers, it’s normal to feel a little worried if you are at the right place. Rest assured you’ve come to the right place when you see the number of people coming to this place particularly around lunch or dinner time. We ordered the chicken with ginger and it was absolutely divine. They also have a choice of “Tin Chat” vegetable which is very rare to find in KL, and taste like velvet in your mouth. The intestine with shrimp is also very good. Fish is fresh. It cost around 40 50 MYR per pax. Rather decent, with the quality of food. The place is located next to the the river and with at least 10 fans operating, it’s very breezy and nice to eat in. It felt very peaceful. So much so, you just want to take a nap after food. A good find.

Hidden in a bamboo field across a river down a valley, it's a traditional village home turns into a popular restaurant for many escapees from the hustle bustle. Nice dishes though maybe a little taste heavy. Fishes are fresh from the river or the pond filled by spring water. The evening breeze coupled with hums from the river rapids make one's meal much more palatable. Price is slightly on the high side but it's worthwhile.

First time having lunch here with group of friends. The environment here is good, though no a/cond but has many fans. Spacious and attentive staff. Taste of food was good. However i do feel the price was a bit pricey.

The place is nice, near a river and windy. But, we went on a Sunday, it is crowded and they do not have enough manpower to service everyone. Service level is poor. Because they were too busy, some waiters just ignore you even you try to call them many times. So, it is not pleasant experience. Food taste is reasonable, price is KL city price as this place is more for city folks and tourist. Other than service, everything else is OK. Come here on a weekday when it is not crowded and you may get better service.
