Very casual to earth strict Wels Restaurant. Great service. Wide range of appetizers. Your generous pages to launch you from beans, hush puppies, your selection of potatoes plus deep fried catfish through the fillet order, but many you want. Good food. But I could add our beans were very good, but I'm sorry they were cold. The rest of our food was hot and very good!

All right, we sat down and ordered our drinks. We have our drinks and Hush puppies, Cole Slav and cooked beans immediately family style. Then waitress asked what we wanted to order. We got the cats. Yeah, it was perfect and the tarter sauce was great.

We go because the fried fish is great, we drive over the hour to come here. Grandkids feed and watch the fish from the deck they have there. The lush puppies are big and the white beans.

This night. The food was delicious. Had the catfish, beans, hover and roasted green tomatoes. The waitress was excellent. While we had waited for sitting, we fed the turtles, fish and geese in the pond.

The quintessential “Lake City Fish Restaurant.” All orders come with white beans, cole slaw, and green onion. We had the fried catfish. Very tasty. Even though they were short of staff, I’ve never seen two waitresses work so hard. We were never in need of extra drinks or anything. Our waitress was fantastic. She said she had just agreed to help out, and was now working full time. My only disappointment was that I had read from another user that their tartar sauce was excellent. I dug deeper and found out their bottles were filled with the same sauce as in their packets, which I believe were Kraft. Decent, but I’m a stickler for homemade tartar sauces. Overall, a good place to get fresh catfish.
