Mama's Diner - BENTON CITY

The quality of the restaurant is quite disappointing. Expect to wait up to 40 minutes for your food, and the prices are very high.

Mama's is a wonderfully welcoming place to be! I’ve never encountered any issues with the food or the staff. I love the delicious dishes, and everyone is genuinely friendly and very helpful.

I've never had a problem with any of the employees or the owner, Mama. The food is incredible, and the service is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. It may take a bit longer, but as their sign says, “We are not fast food; we are homemade goodness.” I would rather wait for something tasty than rush and end up with mistakes. I recommend this place to everyone. The staff is always cheerful and welcoming, which brings back memories of visiting Grandma when I was younger and just enjoying myself. It's a very cozy atmosphere.

When I first started coming to Mama‘s diner it was wonderful the food was good the fries were delicious it took a little long time to get your mail I don’t go there anymore and one of the reasons is that because for some reason the cook always feels they need to come out and ask how the food was and they give suggestions on what we should order if we don’t care for what we ordered the chef gets upset and talks to all the employees and customers about it I’ve been there when Apple came in from out of town they just wanted a burger she talked him into eating roast beef somethings do or whatever it was they really didn’t The wife was very upset with the cook or mama was a cook that day the burgers are too fat they put so much condiments on your burger anymore that the bun just slides off and it’s a big gooey mess it takes forever just to get something with it you know we just want an old fashion country food place that’s what everybody’s looking for we don’t need all these fancy baking in the burger all this kind of stuff it just isn’t good and it’s just not why we come to a restaurant i’m not saying it’s not a friendly place because it is but I’ve tried it like four times now and it’s just getting worse I don’t like to sit there and have to tell somebody how good their food is and how wonderful it was I want to be left alone I want to sit and visit with my friends that I came in with I just feel that when you go to a restaurant that waitress has a place and so does the cooks is keeping your place it’s a restaurant if we want to visit with other people we would’ve went to their homes I’m just saying I hate to see it go under just got too big too fast needs to be taken back down make the burgers not so fat get the bacon out of the burger get the cheese out of the middle of the burger and we don’t need to sit and tell you how great your food is every time we come in their back off if you want customers I’m sorry I had to say this but I’ve been not wanting to hurt anybody’s feelings and I try to go back in what I try to ask people if they want to go when I get the same thing is they don’t want to sit have to talk to you The cook in the waitress and we don’t want to sit and have to tell you how good your food is if you have to ask then it’s not good people don’t like lying to people step back take a look at what you’re doing to your business and start over it’s OK will give you another chance but as it stands at this time I won’t be back and neither will my friends and my out-of-town gas for very displeased they’ve never been into a restaurant where you have to sit and complement the cook all the time he or she gets upset it was Very embarrassing small town or not
