Loved, loved, loved my cabbage rolls (Halupki) last Thursday, and the price is just right for their weekly specials.

Only a great place with fantastic food and service. Closed on Mondays, so people know.

I ate recently at Carlton Diner and was very happy!! My first time there, I can certainly say I will definitely return!! The staff was very efficient and pleasant!! The atmosphere was hometown friendly and the lighting gave a beautiful ambience with its Edison-like country house lights!! Joe, the owner, was very nice and very attentive to our needs. I never found that I sweetly sweetened (by my choice of meal) to the joy of the guests there!!! Joe has a big voice!! The food was delicious, hot and came out in time. The dessert was made by Jen for only $2.00!! What a deal! Considering most places calculate up, from at least $6 or $7 (or even more) for a nice dessert. The restaurant and the bathroom were very clean and they followed the Covid rules set up by the State of PA. I can't wait to return to such a beautiful facility!! It was really a treat! (I was very sad to hear that the restaurants have to return, once again, orders only, starting on Saturday. I feel that this is a ridiculous restriction, especially when most of the restaurants I've done during all this 'China Plandemic' have followed all the rules and guidelines as necessary!!! (Covid is a virus and cannot be controlled by masks as it is air). Too bad that the governor and his band of merry Demates feel that they must be a dictatorship and try to govern the masses.... SMH! Small entrepreneurs and their employees should not say themselves through mass hysteria, by corrupt politicians and the fraudulent media, the big stories to anyone who is not smart enough to know better!

The Ham Bar B Que sandwich is like one from the past. You got so much meat and it was wonderful. Can't wait to get it again. Best ever!
