Pro: *Right off 10 freeway *Very fast wifi (no password required) *Free breakfast (6-9am, if you can get up) *Spacious room and giant king size bed *Room has microwave and fridge *Bathroom has coffee maker, Matrix hair products and hair dryer *Very friendly staff Con: *No elevator *Room has a dated old perfume smell *TV only has antenna channels *Water pressure is just ok *No outlet near the bedside table (unless you move the table and unplug their lamp) *No outlet near the table (unless you unplug microwave or fridge). If you book through Hotwire, most likely will be it in this area. good value and quite comfortable for my stay. Avoid if you can't climb stairs and sensitive to the smell.

Take Heed! There is NO elevator at this hotel! If you have issues with your knees or ankles or anything that causes you to always opt for the elevator when you're dragging around luggage, this is NOT the place for you. This the why it's a low rating. Aside from that- very helpful and friendly clerk. Room is nice in an okay sorta way. Beds are higher off the ground. I am 5'4 . I had to sort of leap into bed. Toilets are low to the floor. Difficult if you have had knee surgery. Since it was triple digits that day, the upstairs room was quite warm when we arrived. Turning on the air cooler to 60 did not cool our room by morning, although it was blowing cool air out. Free breakfast, low price (AARP is the lowest discount and friendly staff raise this from one star to two.

So, this is not the typical clean and modern Days Inn, this is far from that. Trusting the name of the brand, we picked this motel to stay for the night. The whole place looked rundown and the cleanliness was average, wouldn't call it dirty yet, at least I didn't see stains in our room or in the bathroom, but the overall impression of the motel was dated, and one night is enough for me. They serve breakfast till 9am, but I don't care for it. They have milk and juice from concentrate, coffee, lots of carb-loaded items like toast and waffles that I wasn't sure if they were freshly made (no waffle machine). I'm glad they have a kettle of oatmeal, at least it's something hot and made fresh (hopefully). They've got some fruits so I grabbed an apple and mixed the slices into my oatmeal. The apple was probably the cheapest apple you could find. I was just glad at least it wasn't bad, but it was far from tasting good or fresh. Wifi is free without the need of a password, which might explain why it's so slow. Just pay a bit more for a better stay. I saw a Best Western across the freeway and it has better reviews.

Do not get stuck like I did and get placed in a smoking room! It made me sick to breath. These rooms have never been cleaned, I mean, walls washed, carpet shampoo, or curtains cleaned. They were so so bad you wouldn't believe it. Asked to be moved and they didn't want to get off their butts to help and went back outside to, you guessed it, SMOKE. Did I tell you about the bed, where the foot of the bed was higher than the head of the bed. Sleep tight! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES TO STAY IN THE AREA FOR THE SAME PRICE. DO IT.

Could someone just clean up this place a bit? Bottom line: Room was OK, interior, lobby, hallways, not so OK. It wouldn't take much to improve this place, but no one seems to care, apparently. There was popcorn and chips lining the hallway down to our room. I was frightened. Yet, I will say, once inside the room, the furniture and bed/mattress was just fine. However, I would not stay here again. Here are some tips, if the owners actually care... The vaccuum is your friend, learn how to use one. Power wash the entrance area, the pavement was disgusting. Paint the doors to the rooms, or simply replace the doors. Everey single door was beat to hell, scratched, mauled, abused. It's a very bad look. 2 stars for the inside of the room, negative 10 stars for everything else. Yuck.
