Red Oven - Benoni

A great pizzeria in Benoni. We visited when it was raining but they have a lovely outdoor area. They also have a table with blankets and games. The service is exceptionally good genuinely some of the best I have experienced in ages. The focus is pizza, but there are pastas and delicious looking burgers too. The pizzas are wood fired and very thin based. They are very tasty but the ingredients were a bit sparse. The fig, blue cheese and black forest ham pizza didn't have blue cheese on all the slices and used bacon instead of black forest ham. Given the price tag (that particular one ran to R120), I would have liked to have slightly more loaded pizzas. I would nevertheless recommend giving this place a try. Most awesome pizza ever! good prices, we are totally hooked. My daughter would like to go everyday if she could we try and sneak to Red oven when ever we can. Please keep it up 5 stars from us

This is a lovely little restaurant out in the middle of no where to be honest. Our bike broke down and so we decided to tow here until help arrived. The place is small and niche providing a lekker atmosphere, the staff are friendly and in general a very nice place to stop by. They have a large outdoor seating area as well as some inside seating. Small things to note, the toilet door needs a latch. It does not take a lot of effort to fix it. Your customers will appreciate a locked door. And secondly note they don't have a liquor license, so you will be a dry duck for the afternoon with no beers in sight.
