La Despensa, Lupulos Y Taninos

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to our hotel to check in ,with lots of time to kill before check in time we decided to hit a few bars the first of which was La Despensa ,Lupulos Y Taninos and what a great find. This is a great looking bar ,the interior is fantastic ,a cool looking serving bar ,great decor and furnishings ,shelves bursting with a great range of craft beers and there's plenty of seating options both inside and outside ,all in all it's a great bar to chill out in . We got here as the bar was just opening for the day,we sat outside as it was roasting hot ,we ordered bottles of Mahou green beer ,these were served iced cold and accompanied with a bar snack,we soaked up the sun while sipping our beers. A big fan of Mahou green beer ,a light ,hoppy beer perfect for the hot climate out here in the Costa Blanca ,it was just so good being in such a great bar enjoying a freezing cold beer . We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to La Despensa ,Lupulos Y Taninos we had a great time. La Despensa ,Lupulos Y Taninos is easy to locate along Calle San Jose Artesanos. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

La Dispensa Lúpulus Y Taninos is a brilliant Spanish restaurant and bar and is located on C.San José Artesano in the Old Town of Benidorm. This is a brilliant bar with a brilliant interior with nice local decor and local furnishing's and superb seating options throughout it's whole interior and outside seating and on our visit to here this is were we sat as it was a roasting hot day. After a three year absence from Benidorm due to the pandemic this bar was the very first bar we went to while on a ten day visit to Benidorm.This place had just opened as he was just putting the outside seating out and once he had done that we ordered an excellent Mahou Cervecería Clásica which were served iced cold and well priced. This is a superb restaurant and bar with an excellent range of craft beers that we only seen when we were paying our bill. A brilliant restaurant and bar thats easy to find as there's a bus stop on Av.Almendros 21 and it's a couple of minute's walk. (This is my first review of La Dispensa Lúpulus Y Taninos. Este local sito en el corazón de Benidorm, ofrece una variedad de cervezas y vinos a una excelente relación calidad/precio. Disponen de cerveza sin gluten y en el aperitivo también tienen en cuenta las alergias. La camarera que nos atendió fue bastante amable y estuvo muy pendiente de la terraza sin presionar a la hora de cenar. Sin embargo, cuando fuimos a pedir la carta, el hombre que parecía ser el dueño/encargado del local (su compañero) se mostró bastante apático ante la comanda cuando en la mesa de al lado estaba atendiendo de mil amores a un grupo de gente. Considero que la profesionalidad del servicio en cualquier local consta de tratar del mismo modo a todos los clientes y esto es lo que le falta a La Despensa para ser un lugar de diez.

La comida destaca en Benidorm, es de calidad. La atención es pésima, la chica que atiende es muy desagradable, el trato desmerece lo que es el local. Una pena, no volvería.

Buen sitio para tomarte un vermú, vino o cerveza y además comer productos de calidad. Estaba todo muy bueno. Volveremos seguro.
