Sandovals Mexican Food - Benicia

We went in and were greeted with great smiles. Service was real. Menu was easy to read and well assembled. Food was delicious, I had the fish taco, the rice and beans, my wife had the combo plate, one of our daughters had Tri-Tip-Fajitas, our other daughter had shed chicken Quesadilla and our son had the cheese Quesadilla children's plate. Soft drinks came in very large cups that we had not asked for refills. about all we all gave casa Sandoval up! Visit! They won't want to go.

We absolutely love the chicken soup here! They use the finest cuts of breast meat and prepare it fresh to order every time. It may take a bit longer, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

The Mexican food here is of excellent quality. We've been visiting Sandoval since 1990, and the quality has consistently remained high over the years.

This is one of several Mexican restaurants in Benicia. The service was good, and I appreciated that the chips and salsa were provided while we waited for our order. It was quite crowded at 11:00 AM on a weekday, which is always a bit of a hassle. I tried the Tri Tip Burrito bowl, but it wasn't my favorite. However, at work, we had the Fajitas, and they were delicious.
