Lucca Grill - Benicia

I've been a customer for many months. I love the beer garden with music guests. Nice seat so everyone can see the musicians. Good acoustics too. The staff is friendly and moving on, so there is little waiting for drinks or food orders. I like the choices on the menu and tried several things. There is also an indoor bar and a restaurant.

I saw the fried chicken on the menu and I thought I had to try. My wife and I enjoyed a nice, relaxing lunch on Friday before an afternoon walk in Benicia. We started with devil oaks w/ Duck Prosciutto. Then we had a Beet Salad and Seared Ahi Salad. We shared the peace of Chicken. The flavors of the dishes all well mixed together and the portions were generous. The fried chicken was crispy and very juicy, and more than satisfied my desire. A nice restaurant can be found for an incentive to take a moment out.

I have no photo... I ordered her burger. It was one of the best I ever had! Thick, juicy, not greasy. I ordered it well, no bunny, no problem here. I worked in a butcher shop, I know the dangers of undercooked beef. I have a side salad. Iced tea was refreshing. The other 3 enjoyed their lunch as well as...fish chips, BLT, and a French bath. We will return!

Nice evening of wine and dinner in outdoor Garden Area seating with music; ribs were tasty, but quite spicy. Fish and chips and brisket were very good!

Stopped by after a recommendation for fish and chips and Luccas delivered. Great location within walking distance of the water front.. the spicy coleslaw that accompanied the fish was a tasty spin on a common side. Beer and wine selection was abundant as well. Will be back for the chicken apparently after hearing about it from others there at the time!
