Nothing was fresh, not even the rice. I suspect the rice was day old, revived with rice vinegar, sugar and salt. They packed the Chirashi bowl with seafood which was nice but something smelled off. Sushi, fresh sushi, should never smell fishy . The booth they sat us in was broken or just so old and worn that it almost touched the floor. Bend must have a better place to get sushi than here. PS, the tamago was so sweet it was inedible. ?????
I just ate here an ordered the octopus appetizer. It was okay but it was the best part of the meal. I then ordered the tonketsu ramen. Only came with 2 small pieces of pork, the eggs weren't really done right in the traditional way so they were really bland, and then the noodles and broth itself was really bland. Really unsatisfied meal but I still had to pay for it. I ate the 2 pieces of meat and ate a few bites of the noodles. Did not help to drench it in soy sauce. I'm very unhappy. I don't feel like I was really treated right at all. The servers were nice but I should've got a refund on the entree. They even asked how it was and i told them i didnt enjoy it and theyre like oh bummer..... like really??? I even tipped still too. I don't even live here and back home, we have better tonketsu ramen. After that, it's hard to see what's so great about that place. Very irritated.
Loved it. I believe its the best Sushi in Central Oregon. Friendly staff, quick service.
Went there last night and it was the worst sushi I've ever had. The rice wasn't cooked properly, it fell apart, and the fish wasn't fresh. Plus, the waitress let our sushi sit a while before bringing it to us. Wasn't worth the money and never plan on going back.
