Furtado's Restaurant - Benaulim

We were here for a quick lunch - quick because we reached here at 3.15 and the place shuts by 4 pm in the afternoon. So had to order all our starters, main course and beer at one go. The food - we ordered chicken cafreal and goan prawns curry with rice was very local and exceptionally good. I guess our hardwork of visiting the Bondla Zoo was awarded with good food and beer and all of this with a beautiful sea view. prices also are very reasonable.

The management is a bit run down... So the service is sloppy and the food is about average... But the location of this place is to die for. Its the kind of place u can spend the entire day at... Actually they let out rooms for day picnics so u have a place to rest and freshen up right by the beach. Its an amazing location. The night stay is also quiet comfortable... provided u don't mind the staff who isnt very helpful or forthcoming

After having a terrible experience in April, we decided to try again in May. The food was ok, but the service not at all up to the mark. The waiter probably thought he was doing us a favour.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant with our family. The service was excellent and the food quality was top-notch.

We went on a week day. There was hardly any crowd. The staff were so disinterested as though customers were a hindrance. They give you a menu card but most of the items are not available.
