The Fairway - Benalmádena

We came across this bar purely by accident and so glad we did. Lyn and Danny were the warmest of hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The bar offers just about every type of drink you could think of and the prices (and the measures) really were excellent. Craving for some veg after a week of eating not so healthily, the traditional roast dinner on our last Sunday was an absolute blessing. A choice of 3 meats, Yorkshire Pudding, three root vegetables, two types of potatoes and 'proper ' gravy really hit the spot. The chocolate pudding (a choice of three were available) afterwards was the perfect ending. However, it has to be said that the hosts really make this establishment worth a visit or three. Lyn and Danny made us so welcome and were so accommodating. They offered endless advice on travel information and knowledge of the local area. They even printed off our boarding passes when we found ourselves a little stranded. The whole vibe is reminiscent of local pubs of old, where conversation and friendliness come before live football and gaming machines. I would thoroughly recommend The Fairway to anyone who wants a quiet drink and/or good food in good company.

Nice friendly people great sunday lunch very filling was quiet when we arrived which was left a nice personal touch to the place will deffo go back there at some point during our holiday as has a pool table to keep the kids entertained

Ate here several times during our holiday as the kids loved it, football and a pool table, Sunday lunch was amazing and we went back following week, also bbq ribs beautiful and sizzles good too!! Had a trek up the hill and was looking forward to a sizzler steak going by the reviews on trip adviser .the place was empty so very little atmosphere ,however the hosts were pleasant and friendly ,whilst the steak was cooked as per request ,it may have been the oil that the food was cooked in gave the onions etc an unusual taste . We left disappointed after looking forward to the meal but perhaps caught them on an off day .

Beautiful home cooked Sunday roast with a choice of meats and deserts,well priced. Lynne and Danny excellent hosts,brilliant with the kids,and will be back for the sizzler!
