Contribuiți la feedbackFrom the valet, to the bartender to the waiter: everyone was friendly and welcoming. the NYE prices were steep, but expected. A pity that the place is sold to new management after 50 years. hopefully, the dinge only change for the better for the employees and customers.
Great. went for nye and had the preset menu items, including the paella, halibut and desserts. eat not very good.
We went to a caprice for an early New Year's dinner. we have gone to the restaurant in recent years and are always beautiful. they make a price-fixe dinner with choice of starter, entrée and dessert. we started with champagne and then ordered our meals. we felt a little hurry, but then it was better when we had ordered. we both have the lobster bisque that was great. my man had the regal of lamb and loved it and I had the bark that was excellent and it came with sweet and my favorite Au-Grotin potatoes. I ended up with the apple bull, who felt the only disappointment, as if they had put vanilla wafers on the apples, just not their typical cbbler. my man had vanilleeis that he always likes. overall it was excellent and you cannot beat the atmosphere. it is such a beautiful location at the bay in tiburon. apparently the restaurant was sold and some rebuilding works are carried out. I hope they keep the elegant atmosphere that made it a special place for generations.
It was our jubilee that I waiter knew he would congratulate us that we were a tad disappointed that an surprise was never offered.
We come here often for the food and the views. Lots of variety, never have had anything We didn’t like, professional cooking and service. Everyone we bring here loves it! We are so sorry it will enclosing til summer with the change in ownership and renovations. We very much want the return of the chef, menu and staff. That even includes the parking valet!
