Jake's Chinese Buffet - Belton

The food was atrocious. I tried everything and spit out half the stuff I tried. It's definitely nowhere as good as Dynasty. Hell Panda express is still better than this place. The fried rice! The ancestors are rolling over in their graves. The fish was cold. A code violation waiting to happen. The food is nowhere as warm or hot as it should be. The best thing about the beef and broccoli was the broccoli. The sweet tea was the best thing on the menu. I liked their spring roll but it was also cold.

The quality of food was terrible. What happened to this place?? It use to be really good. Not any more

The atmosphere and service is very good here. Something that they should urgently consider!! Label the dishes as they are arranged. Today I visited the place and I was wondering if the meat was pork or chicken. It didn't have labels.

I have to take a moment and thank the staff from tonight's order. I made a single request for extra duck sauce, and I may have over exaggerated the importance of this sauce, but they delivered. For the first time in years my request was fulfilled and we'll have enough sauce for all of the leftovers too. Thanks to the staff, the cooks and our delivery driver. You were perfect tonight. All of my doubts have been resolved and faith restored in Chinese takeout in Belton Texas. You all deserve a raise.

We tried this place on a whim because it was rated very well. When we pulled up, we had second thoughts for a bit... but.... we gave it a try because so many cars pulled up and people were practically running inside. Looks were definitely deceiving!! Small but cute, not a huge selection, but all the right selections. Very good, very affordable, and our waitress was super nice. We've already gone back again and it was delicious.
