Applebee's Neighborhood Grill - Belton

I ordered the all-you-can-eat boneless wings platter, and it was just perfect. Our server was friendly and did everything possible to make us feel safe during these pandemic times, which I really appreciated. He was humorous without being intrusive or rushing us in any way. We never had to wait long for refills on our wings and drinks. The bar area was lively, with a few families cheering on the Chiefs, but the music wasn't too loud. I truly couldn't think of a better place to spend an hour away from home.

What on earth is going on at this restaurant? We’ve made several attempts to dine here since it’s conveniently close to our home. It’s a chain, so you’d expect a certain level of consistency and efficiency. However, it feels like the owners and managers at this location are actively trying to mess things up. I’m honestly at a loss for words. I don’t know where to begin. Applebee’s corporate, do you even pay attention to these reviews? It might be time to close this location and let someone else take over the space. We really need more dining options in this area, and right now, this place isn’t even an option. It’s disappointing, especially for the few decent employees who are still here. By the way, I’m still sitting here waiting for my food... I must really enjoy punishment.

I visited this location for the first time and decided to give it a shot. Although the previous reviews weren't very positive, the sign stated that it was under new management, so I thought, "Why not?" I ordered the fiesta lime chicken, and it was excellent—far better than the Raytown location. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

I literally just made an account to post this. I wasn't going to because the HR lady for Applebees said they'd call me with further details and haven't for 3 weeks, my community needs to know how terrible this place is , not Applebees but this location definitely.

We waited over 10 minutes without seeing a host, while they were not busy. We got sat and didn't see a single server for another 20 minutes. They had a total of 3 other tables in the restaurant and 2 servers.
