I recently dined at this restaurant after it was recommended by our accommodation for being dog-friendly, and it certainly lived up to that reputation! The meals were delicious, and the desserts were a standout feature of our visit. They provided dog water bowls, and ordering through an app made the process simple. The views of Lake Macquarie were fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. The modern interior added to the overall experience as well.

We found a small table with comfy chairs near the bar, and there weren’t many people around at that time. The music was a bit loud, but when we asked if it could be turned down, they happily obliged. There was a sports show on TV, and the manager increased the volume so we could enjoy our meal while catching up on our team's news. Overall, it was a fantastic experience on a hectic day. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was very welcoming.

Such a lovely place to dine with fantastic views over Lake Macquarie. The food was reasonably priced and a good variety of tasty dishes. The staff were very efficient and helpful when ordering and delivering our food. Highly recommend the Gunyah Hotel.

We had dinner at the pub with my partners family. This pub is quite nice. The restaurant had beautiful views to the water. Was lovely to eat with that view. My meal was a Prawn and chorizo fettuccine. It was delicious. The 3 others had steaks all which were cooked differently and to their likings.. Happy all round. The desserts were great as well.. I would definitely go back and recommend it..
