Iron Gate Restaurant - Belmont

As usual everything was very good. I've never been dissapointed.

The Iron Gate has been traditionally a go-to source for a time for celebration and this time was no exception. I was a bit taken aback to note that the website menu was dated as of January 2022 and I was fearing spike hike prices. Thankfully, that was not the case. Our appetizers were tasty. Our caesar salad promised to be table prepared was not. The reason is that the place was too busy. And that is the major critique. The facility squeezes in too many tables to meet it demand. We felt crammed. The wait staff did an amazing job under the circumstances. Management might consider opening the bar area to diners to relieve the sardine effect. We'll go back again but it won't be on a busy night at a busy time.

Waiters were outstanding, extremely attentive, very friendly and nice. Food was delicious! But we brought our own wine and still paid $50 tip each and the meal was $600. We can’t afford to go here. There was 4 of us and we both split salads, had steaks and 3 desserts.

Excellent service, great variety of menu selections. Easy access parking.

Iron Gate always lives up to its reputation. The food is delicious and the service impeccable. We enjoyed a wonderful celebratory dinner with friends. We always return!
