Rhodes Cafe - Bellingham

I have been to Rhodes Cafe on multiple occasions, in different company, but most often with my husband. We have always been very satisfied. The food is great (esp their bacon and hashbrowns), and service is quick. I/we are especially fond of one of their servers: Jared. It always seems to be a busy time when we see Jared, yet he always makes time to make us feel welcome... with a big smile, and present the menu offerings in an extra special way. For example, white [toast], is not just white toast with Jared... it 's Rustic White . And that may be an example of what and how he 's been told to describe the food... but we 've been there enough to know, we only recall Jared describing the food at Rhodes like this! It 's sometimes the small things/ details, that go a long way. Way to go Jared... keep smiling!

We were just going to the strip mall to return some DVD's and laundry. We were hungry and saw this place and neither of us have been here and so we agreed to give it a try. Food was good and the portion size were nice and cost was fair. It was a nice experience. Staff was nice and polite also.

My wife and I absolutely love this place! They have the best pancakes and corned beef in the city. The servers are very friendly as well. We've been there several times, including a recent visit when it was quite busy. Our server was patient while we waited for a table, and he quickly cleaned up when he saw an opening. The food arrived promptly, and we didn't have to wait long for the check, which was fantastic because we had a busy day ahead of us. I can't recommend this place enough!

This place is fantastic! I can't believe I've been in Birmingham for two years and just visited for the first time today. The hash browns are the best I've ever had—just the right amount of crispiness without being dry. The sausages, cookies, and sausage patties were all delicious. The pancakes had the perfect chewiness without feeling heavy; they were exactly what I envision as perfect pancakes. From now on, when someone asks me where to get breakfast, I won’t hesitate to recommend Rhodos Caffe! The customer service was also excellent, just what you would expect from a charming local spot.

I dropped off several paintings here last year, and I must say, it's a fantastic spot for classic diner food. Today, I tried their breakfast special, the Hungry Hatch, and it was by far the best and most satisfying diner breakfast I've had in a long time. This place is truly a gem, with friendly service, great coffee, and traditional fare. We're fortunate to have Rhodos in Bellingham!
