Subway - Bellevue

Mobile orders are usually completed on time, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. However, I had an unfortunate experience with a new employee who didn’t seem to know how to properly top my sandwich. I had to ask four times before I finally got a decent amount of onions on my sub. Additionally, when she was adding the tuna, she accidentally applied too much pressure while working over a small hole on the table, which caused a tear in the flatbread. This experience left me a bit frustrated as I headed back. I would typically rate this experience with two stars, but since I’ve had great interactions with the rest of the staff, I won’t let one employee's mistake influence my overall rating.

The restaurant had an odd smell. The flatbread had hard spots, making it seem stale. The cookies were overly soft and crumbled at the slightest touch. I usually love Subway sandwiches, but this place was a disappointment.

At that point, I requested to speak to their manager. The employee called the manager, who refused to come in or speak over the phone, suggesting that I could file a complaint online instead. I’ve visited this store multiple times without issue, except for this particular employee, who had been rude on a previous visit as well. I let it slide before, thinking it was just a one-time incident. The employee wouldn’t even provide their name and dismissed me, saying I could do what I wanted. I did get the name of the manager, Martin. To make matters worse, I wasn’t even given a receipt, so I had to look up the store's details online. I’m uncertain if anyone will take my complaint seriously since the manager showed no interest in addressing the issue. This was the worst experience I've had, especially since I was nothing but polite when I entered. There’s simply no excuse for treating a customer this poorly.

This is the worst Subway in the Redmond-Bellevue area. I recommend avoiding it and choosing a different place to eat. The management is not very polite.

I was disappointed to find that they didn't have the Italian herbs and cheese bread. I ordered the artisan bread instead, but it didn't taste fresh. One of the older employees seemed a bit grumpy and had an attitude that came off as slightly racist. Overall, the atmosphere was not inviting and didn't make me feel comfortable dining there.
