The hamachi carpaccio was the highlight of the meal! Even though it took a while for someone to assist us initially, the server apologized for the delay and provided excellent service for the rest of our dining experience.

The service was courteous and the menu was traditional. The Tamago Egg dish was watery, although the fluffiness was visually appealing, the flavor was lacking. However, the sushi was satisfying.

Excellent food and service. Our waitress, Angela was instrumental in making our night memorable and fun. She was exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond her duties.

My fiancé took me to this restaurant a few months ago and I can’t get enough! I find it difficult to eat at other sushi restaurants now, especially places like Japponessa, because the quality here is unmatched. You can taste it in the food and the way it's prepared. Every roll I’ve tried has been fantastic, with the exception of crab rolls, as I’m not a fan of seafood. The best roll is the seared salmon tempura shrimp roll. The nigiri is also very good and high quality, offering great value for your money. The edamame is delicious and the calamari is outstanding, the best I’ve had in Washington so far. My fiancé and I have to order our own servings because it’s just that good! The black cod is also exceptional and their Miso soup is top-notch. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant. I believe it’s family-owned, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, with amazing food whether you dine in or take out.
