Bib's Meats - Belleville

We've been dealing with BIB'S meats for several years now. So what is people have to wait. Waiting is a normal way of life, people have to wait in line for traffic lights to change, wait in line for banking, visiting the doctor's offices. The reason their so busy is because of their good selection of food they allow substitutions with no extra fees there prices have remained thar same even during COVID which I cant say for many other places. There meats are perfect in every way as well as all of the other products they sell what I like the most is they offer delivery. Keep up the good work the delicious tasting variety of foods. Good meat, good service, and a relatively good selection of fresh produce. The only minor complaint I had was that the store was a bit dirty. Otherwise it is a good place to shop for fresh meats and produce.

On recommendation did our meat shop, lovely young blond lady clearly knows her stuff, It was a pleasurable experience much alike the butcher shops I remember back in the UK Quality meats and equally Top Notch service, no dumb school leavers but people clearly enjoy their job the Sirloin perfect for fajitas cut like butter, my wife’s from Texas and BBQ is a lifestyle Apparently I did real good Happy wife Happy life I’m actually looking forward to grilling the rest especially the bratwurst they make on site that afternoon No it’s not cheap but you try raising a cow ?

“ Don’t expect to enjoy the service but dinner will be good. ” should be their new slogan.I buy my families Meat orders from them, typically spending $2-400 per order. BUT they have legitimately the worse customer service I have ever experienced at a butcher shop. They have zero flow in the physical store to help people form lines or know where to go and I would estimate about 50-75% of the employees avoid human interaction at all costs. I will note a few people there shine bright but I feel like that’s easy to do in such a dark room.We placed a new order Wednesday, upon placing it the lady informed me they had fulfilled 15 orders that day and I was 15th in line currently. I called back Friday afternoon to inquire about availability for pick up when the staff told me “we haven’t gotten around to it yet”.I would absolutely love to speak to the owners who I’m sure have zero idea customers are being told they don’t matter and they be gotten to when their staff feels like it.Unfortunately they are the best overall price in town (I made a spreadsheet to confirm because I really wanted to pull my business from them).

The employees are very helpful and friendly. Would not buy my meat anywhere else. Always good quality.
