Bayou Grill Bar - Belleville

Good jambalaya. I liked it better here than with bj’s because it was hot and economical. I didn't think it was too dead. I thought it was right.

Really good food. left johnnys and went here to eat. great menu, large service (even if they were busy). will return definitiw.

There are all they can eat caygen stlye all they eat fish on Wednesday was too salty. not sure what they did differently. it's never so salty.

Went for dinner on 5/17 around 6:30pm and the food was pretty good! Not authentic Cajun recipes but still tasty. My only complaint was our waitress. The bartender greeted us immediately because apparently our server was busy initially, but she walks up interrupting saying “is this my table?” Bartender explains she was just grabbing our drink orders since she couldn’t at first. I was asked twice if I wanted a box, the box never came and ended up just leaving the food. She drops the bill off, never comes back. We leave cash on the table and as we’re walking out she calls out at us from across the room asking if we were paying cash or card as if we were walking out on her. Had she came back to check on her table she would have noticed the bill was paid in cash. I wish she would have just left us with the bartender lol definitely needs more server training people skills.

Bartender disappeared on us for a good amount of time. Time enough for all 3 of us to finish our drinks and start wondering if the tender quit.
