Cafe de L'Union - Bellegarde

We stopped for coffee and cake/pastry at this little cafe, honestly it was because other places were closed. We were very pleasantly surprised to find such a nice restaurant, they were very welcoming of us even though we were having only dessert. Excellent cake, fruit tart, granite/sorbet.

If you're looking for a good place to eat, see where the french go! Here you get fast food at the best price-quality ratio. We had entrecôte with french fries combined with salad/balsamico. It was perfect. The chocolate cake served as desert was also of good quality.
