Pepper On 23 - Belle Chasse

My first visit to Pepper on 23 was a fantastic experience that definitely won't be my last! Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, Jailynn and Shelly, who made us feel right at home. We started off with the delicious onion rings, made with red onions and a tasty batter. It's rare to find thin onion rings done so well! I opted for the seafood platter, which included shrimp, oysters, catfish, hush puppies, corn nuggets, and fries - all coated in a flavorful batter that was absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed his hamburger poboy as well. We're looking forward to returning to sample more items from their menu. I couldn't resist ordering the white chocolate bread pudding to go, and it was simply amazing - moist and tasty. Thanks to Jailynn and Shelly for a wonderful first visit - we can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

The food at this restaurant is incredible, the staff is fantastic, and the beer is always cold. I have never had wings as good as the ones they serve here. Overall, I would rate the food and service a 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere gets a 4 out of 5. This is the perfect spot for dinner.
