Contribuiți la feedbackThe real issue arose when I tried the chicken. It was pink and had a rubbery texture. Every piece looked off in color, leaning more towards pink than anything else. I took a small bite to check it out, but it was so chewy and rubbery that I had to spit it out. I was really disappointed that they would serve such an unappetizing and potentially unsafe dish. With so many Thai restaurants in Houston, I’ll be looking elsewhere next time.
The lunch special is an excellent value at $11.50, which includes a large portion of salad or soup along with an entree. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it's available on weekends as well. The staff is friendly. However, I found the pad Thai and peanut sauce to be a bit too sweet for my taste, so I might choose something different next time. The vinaigrette is a much better choice for the salad dressing. I've tried the curry before, and it's fantastic!
**AMBIANCE:** The atmosphere is casual, fitting for a Thai restaurant. **FOOD/DRINKS:** I visited on a weekday to try out their lunch options, and I was pleased to find a diverse menu. You have the choice of either the soup of the day or a salad, and every lunch dish comes with a crispy veggie egg roll. I decided to order the beef Pad Thai. The ratio of noodles to meat was good, and I thought it was enjoyable at first. However, as I continued eating, it became a bit too salty for my liking. I'm not sure if that was just a one-time occurrence or if that’s how it's typically made. If I return, I would be inclined to try a different dish. I also had the Thai Iced Tea, which I highly recommend (5/5). It was fragrant and refreshing, and I believe they actually brew the tea leaves for it. **SERVICE:** The service was excellent. As soon as we were seated, we noticed some water on the table, and our waiter promptly wiped it down for us without us even having to ask.
I visited the restaurant for lunch for the first time. The food was decent, but the service could use some improvement. I was there to pick up my lunch to take away, and I ended up waiting without anyone informing me that my food was ready. I had to approach them myself to ask. Additionally, I was told that plastic utensils were included in the bag, but they were not. Unfortunately, I probably won’t return. However, the interior of the restaurant is nicely done!
The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet alley in Bellaire, but it offers generous portions, reasonable prices, and delicious food. The place is clean and has ample space for guests. My family and I ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, and drunken noodles. I also tried the Thai tea, which was rich, creamy, and on the sweeter side. The pad Thai was spot on, while the pad see ew had a bit too much topping and not enough noodles—it was also slightly burnt. On the other hand, the drunken noodles had a fantastic kick to them. Overall, I had a great experience this time, which is usually the case!
