Dit's - Belize City

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. We arrived very early and wanted to order a vegan breakfast. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made me my first fry jacks, which were delicious! The beans and the salad were also excellent. The woman mentioned that if we hadn't come so early, we would have had more options, like tacos or something similar. However, we were more than satisfied with the breakfast she served us!

I really love this restaurant because the food is excellent. However, I do think the portions are a bit small. They always have delicious desserts available, and the service is incredibly friendly. Overall, it's a fantastic place to dine.

What a fantastic spot to enjoy authentic Lician cuisine at a great price! We noticed there were only two meal options available, which suggests they prepare everything fresh. However, we arrived later in the afternoon at 4 PM, so arriving earlier might offer a wider selection. We paid just 10 Belize dollars for a meal that included a drink! The owner, who is the mother overseeing the restaurant, was incredibly friendly too!

Dit’s is a quaint little family owned restaurant that serves scrumptious traditional belizean food and out of this world pastries.

Wonderful homestyle cooking! And super affordable: each breakfast was just Bz$ 7. We learned that they have been in business for at least 60 years and it's the fourth generation to run it. So that speaks to the quality!
