Blue Bell - Belford

We eat here regularly and had a lovely steak tonight at weekly Friday steak night! Great service and friendly atmosphere and happily welcome our dog so we can enjoy a meal out.

Very important to us this hotel is dog friendly. To exclude dogs when some people haven’t seen a bar of soap is ludicrous. We went on Wednesday steak night Two sirloins or rib-eyes and all the trimmings for £35 inc bottle of wine. Cooked perfectly. Others in party had lasagne and steak pie with no complaints. Desserts beautiful Only downside was skin on chips a few were “gritty” but this won’t stop us returning.

We ate in the restaurant. The waitress was very rude and unhelpful. She was like the woman out of acorn antiques. There were 7 of us eating and only 2 peoples food was passable everyone's else's was cold or very poor. Ended up with a reduction off the bill but will not be going again.

We had the Sunday roast. Food was unbelievably good, service was excellent. would highly recommend.
