Pipa-Taberna Típica Alentejana - Beja

After waiting patiently by the door with three hungry -yet well behaved- children for over half an hour the waiter who had pointedly ignored us the entire time; walked up to us and said we would not be served but could keep waiting. We will...never set foot in this place again and recommend others to avoid supporting a restaurant that treats people this way.

I don't like it just because it still has a lot to improve. yes there are traditional eating and good but cleansing and according to the hygiene and Kovid rules there is no distance between the customers. 2 meter lot noise, bad lighting small restaurant I recommend not almost all restaurants and caffes in this city not the distance between customers according to the law...covid19

Before the door we went that the door was to the restaurant, and we were happy that we didn't miss it. this is a cozy traditional Portuguese restaurant, they have not spoken much English, so I took a little time to order, but that was eating...big

The food was great both the meat (bochechas) and the fish (petingas fritas with gaspacho). The wine was also good. The service is typical of theses places, it can take a while, especially if it is busy. I would return, for sure!

My favourite Restaurant! Awesome food, cozy, nice atmosphere. Really good Sangria, which might show some side effects once you get up . Good service, really friendly. Compared to pther Restaurants in Beja a bit expensive but worth every Cent!!!
