Asked the cook what to eat. He recommended the octopus and it was great. As the locals like it. Tender and a nice portion. Served with olive oil awesome, but maybe not to everyone’s liking. I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Visiting the historic town of Beja saw us find this lovely restaurant for lunch Tem Avond. the staff were very friendly and helpful as our Portuguese is horrible and their English was not so good either.. despite the language barrier we managed to get through the menu (Google Translate helpful too) and we ordered variety of dishes.. The food was very good and quite inexpensive.. If you are in Beja highly recommend this spot for a bite to eat!!
