Appetito Trattoria Gemmayzeh - Beirut

Food was great, Moe and his team were more than happy to serve us. Friendly staff and generally good people. Will be visited again when I am back in Beirut!!!

We used to go to the old appetite before the explosion and it quickly became our favorite Italian place in the neighborhood. After a low drop in quality at the beginning of the crisis, Appetito is back on what it was earlier. The food is great, the cook is a superstar, it feels good to visit, Mo the manager AKA Francesco is amazing. Try to scream Francesco over the door when he passes, he can make you laugh even if you don't want to. Only one application for the next time #PBBTF (please bring the fries back) were they the best in the city and cannot be traded for baked potatoes.

I lived a year in Milan and I can honestly say that the pasta I had at your resturant was so much better than most restaurants in Milan. The food was just amazing! However, as much as the food was amazing I would most definitely come back because of the amazing hospitality and energy that the staff greeted me and my cousin with. It was such a delight to be served by Hassan and Mano! The manager and the staff made sure that our time at Appetito was extremely delightful and memorable!
