Moulin Rouge, Beira, Mozambique

This place is mostly looked by seamen because it's a few meters away from the port's main entrance, i am talking about foreigners of course.

Beautiful old architecture. A kind of grungy vibe, it's definitely not a place for everyone. But perfect place to hangout at all night long.

This is my local favourite a nice neighborhood restaurant. The interior is original from colonial times. There are tables inside and outside. The toilets are, as many bars in Mozambique, rather shabby and dirty.

Good place to work shortly after a hard time, walking from Beira Port Gate.

Service was friendly, food was moderate. I had the Prego with chips and it was good enough for a quick bite to eat during lunch. Nice place to sit and watch the city of Beira go past.
