Enjoyed a delicious High Tea in the Ouw Rectory this afternoon. It was a surprise birthday party. Received all cooperation from the employees. The snacks that were served were a feast for the eyes, very varied and tasty and at a good temperature. The tea was tasty and hot... All in all a TOP afternoon at a TOP location.

After a nice bike ride we settled down in the Oude Rectory to fill our hungry stomachs. We were allowed to sit on the terrace. Soon we could order our drinks and food. The drink came quickly to the table, but the food, on the other hand, was left behind. After addressing the waiter our food would be there, but this was not right, after an hour we still hadn't had anything. Suddenly another waiter came to tell us that something had gone wrong with our order and that they immediately started working in the kitchen. All five of us were allowed to choose a free drink from the store. Four of the five people ordered a well-done pastor burger, which turned out to be overcooked and not well-done at all. When clearing the room, the room manager came to help and asked how it had been, we told her that we had ordered a well-done burger but that this was not the case, she would go to the kitchen to negotiate but did not return. So it will be with us, we will not come back.
