Schmidt Family Barbecue - Bee Cave

Incredible barbecue served by friendly staff who genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere is fantastic—I walked in today and was greeted by an amazing aroma! You won’t regret dining here. While I’m a fan of the brisket, everything on the menu is delicious. I also recommend the creamed corn as a side dish. The barbecued turkey during Thanksgiving is outstanding; it’s all we serve now. Make sure to request extra moist brisket, without any fat. And don’t forget to mention that Steve sent you!

The food was good, but it seemed really overpriced. Two ribs cost $11.

We traveled from Dallas to Austin for our Thanksgiving feast, and it was absolutely worth it! The turkey, brisket, and sausage, paired with our homemade sides, made for an exceptional meal. A big thank you to the Schmidt family and their team for a fantastic job. Well done!

Great BBQ at good prices. I’ve been here several times over the years and it’s consistently good food. I’m a turkey and sausage guy but have had pretty much everything here and definitely enjoy it.

Decent BBQ. Brisket maybe a bit dry, and the sauce is interesting, not bad but definitely different. Jalapeño Mac n Cheese was pretty good!
