Kiku Hibachi Sushi - Bedminster

Overly salty and low quality meats for hibachi. Called ahead to reserve an entire table for our 8 guests and was confirmed. We arrived 30 minutes later and they refused to give us the table when all 8 were here saying a usual customer decided to come. We regret not leaving because they gave that table away to a party of 4. Since this is the only hibachi place near me, I would have let the incident go if the food was good but it was absolutely disgusting.

Wonderful staff they waited for us to get there because they were about to close the whole staff sat waited while we ate they didn’t rush us at all and food was AMAZING. I don’t understand how anyone has rated this place anything less than 5 stars!!! This SHOULD be a 5 star review. But another establishment blindly charging me to use a credit card. If I knew up front maybe I'd bring cash. But it's not posted anywhere, and it's not on your website. We've been to Kiku many times. Had great sushi. Nice place. Gets a little loud when there's a hibachi birthday party, but that's fine. Charging 3.5% to use a credit card. Let me KNOW this is the case. Post it in your restaurants, on your websites if you think it's important to your business. Let me make the decision. OR I'd really prefer that you build it into your price and take me out of it. But to spend $200 on sushi, and get hit for $7 bucks to pay... just is the most annoying thing. It may cause me to rethink this Kiku just like it has the Market Tavern in Flanders. Maybe if they STOP charging for using a credit card they will post THAT on their website.

Hibachi master a little limited, cuisine a little bland but it's still nice to introduce hibachi Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
