Best ribeye ever... great atmosphere...friendly staff...all-around great experience.

Sometimes overcharging people doesn't mean it's the best food. Salad bar has nothing to desire. The ribs were okay with a little bit dry. The shrimp was mediocre.

Very good, but not outstanding. I've never had an amazing meal here, but I've never had a bad meal either. Try the crab cakes or the calamari. And they make a pretty decent dry martini as well. Always a wonderful salad bar! Over the years, the fried oyster dinner has turned into our favorite. It's usually written on the specials board in the bar, but even when it is not they generally have it. Although it's not on the menu. We usually end up ordering the oyster dinner, and then ordering the oyster appetizer to go, and eat it the next day for lunch. Go with that!

Came here on May 31st, my wife brought me because it is my normal birthday spot. Had reservations and got a great spot outside. My wife asked what kind of ciders were available, the waitress went to check and never mentioned it again. I ordered a prime rib medium and my wife ordered a medium filet, they both came out severely overcooked (absolutely well done . First well done prime rib and filet I have ever seen. The salad was great as usual. Supposedly there was a wedding party present but that should not effect my wife and I... Rambunctious adults (50+ sat behind us laughing very loud, coughing, and cursing. It is a shame, perhaps I came on a bad night but this was the worst New London experience I have had. This has always been one of my favorites but we did not feel appreciated at all during our visit.
