Wood Grain Bistro - Bedford

When the food arrived, I asked the server to take away the bacon, but she insisted on bringing out an extra plate instead. I explained that I needed a completely new order, and she seemed to get frustrated. To my surprise, she went back to the kitchen, then returned and practically yelled in front of other customers, saying that I should have informed her earlier that I didn’t want bacon. She repeated that several times. After twenty minutes, she finally brought out my meal, but the French toast was burned to a crisp. I took a picture to show how poorly it was prepared. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning, and I do not recommend this place for brunch.

I stopped by the church today and decided to try the Eggs Benedict at Ginger. It was fantastic! I also had the Avocado Toast with a salad, which was wonderful. The place was quite busy, but I managed to sneak in a few bites of the salad, and it was delicious. Tomorrow morning, I plan to pick up a local 4-pack of jam, including one mustard, for a friend. They look so good! This is truly a beautiful place to visit. I highly recommend it—great food and wonderful service! Thank you to the chef and the Ruhe team!

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience during our visit. The food was delicious, and the staff were exceptional. We enjoyed the pork belly eggs Benedict and the rum French toast, both of which were perfect. We even shared a large chai tea. We will definitely be returning, as everything was delightful.

This place has the potential to be one of the better brunch sites in the DFW Metro area. Service was great. Flavors had more depth and were more complex than your average brunching place. Some minor problems like the egg overcooked (ordered by simple, was over good) and grill marks on chicken tasting somewhat burned, but will probably visit again.

Wowwwwwwzers!!!! This place was bussin bussin.... lol Me, the wife and kids went there today and OMG everything was sooooo good....we had the BLT w/ a side of hash browns....check this out I asked for onions on my hash browns and they used caramelized onions.... never in my days have I had this... it was all different and all good.....we also ordered the Bedford with bacon, English muffins, eggs and their breakfast potatoes, waffles with sausage and potatoes and the kids pancakes with bacon...... this place was a definite hidden jewel..... will we be back....... YESSIR!!!!
