Elstow Tea Garden - Bedford

This restaurant features a beautiful tea garden in Elstow, making it a delightful hidden gem. The staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place when you’re in the area. Just keep in mind that it might not be as enjoyable if the weather turns bad.

The young women who served us were extremely attentive throughout our visit. We ordered four afternoon teas, along with a sandwich and a milkshake for the little one (who shared the sandwich with the baby). The little ones were thrilled when the afternoon tea arrived, and they weren’t too happy when we grown-ups started helping ourselves (they thought it was all for them, but we made sure to share some small bites with them). The selection of food was excellent, and the prices were fantastic. We had a teapot which was regularly refilled with hot water and tea bags without us having to ask. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic! The service was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The location is stunning—I didn't want to leave! They even prepared a customized vegan cream tea that was excellent. I highly recommend this place for a quick coffee or a full meal.

From any reason google would not allow me to write an evaluation yesterday, only allowed my star rating so now I have something to write again. when we arrived, we were greeted at the tor and shown on our table. four adult, a small child and a baby. the high hair has already been built. celebrate the birthday of the grandmother. the young women who served us were very attentive during our visit. we ordered four afternoons and a sandwich and milkshake for the small child (and baby divided sandwich.) infants eyes almost fell out when the afternoon tee arrived and was not happy when we adult began to help ourselves (they thought it was all for them, no worries, we have little nibbles shared with them). we had a single teekanne, which was regularly lined with hot water and/or tee bags, without asking for anything. will definitely be back. recommendations
