Afternoon Tea at Verve Hotel - Bedford

This restaurant was great for Date Night. It had furnished a romantic table and was not too busy. Romantic music was in the background that added the mood. The food was absolutely perfect and the staff was brilliant. A great place to eat.

When we arrived, the reception was empty, no one was there and we waited about 10 minutes until finally an employee came to see us. We went for lunch, but we got an evening menu, so I had to ask for the lunch menu. It took ages to have served our lunch and it was gigantic and tasteless. Worst Sunday roast ever.

Service was terrible. The car was locked and had to wait until the staff moved his car to let us out.

Superb, food was very beautiful and beautiful presented. Staff very friendly. What Bedford needs.

I was so surprised as the hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment and the hotel is looking so great, very boutique feel. Food was excellent but the service was good but not slick however the restaurant was very busy. Strongly recommend.
