Contribuiți la feedbackI 've been to the old Woodside and it was ok . I 've been to the Woodside for diner and I am picky on what I eat and I had Chicken Fingers and Fries , Salad Bar Fully Stocked and FRESH , I did have the Hot Wing not bad , not big either . They need to roll the wing in the hot sauce not just put it on top . I also had soup I had Chicken Barley it was very good and Hot . Over all I 'd go back . I like the changes made by owners who seem to want to serve customers a good meal a far price . I 'm happy . I 've read the other reviews and don 't know where they really ate but it must not have been Woodside . Keep doing what your doing and use will be fine .
This place has reopened under new ownership in late December 2015 and has undergone extensive renovations. Looks better than it ever has. They have a nice salad bar with excellent soup like chicken noodle. But, amazingly, they don't appear to be doing much to announce the favorable comeback. With the horrible downslide the restaurant went through under its last brief ownership you'd think they'd aggressively be trying to get the word out. The Facebook page still doesn't reflect the change.
I've been coming here for a long time, and since the new owners took over, it is even worse. They added a lame salad bar, but the menu food is terrible. There was no meat in my meatloaf, as it was all breadcrumb. The rolls were like rocks. Mashed potatoes were decent and the chicken soup was good. They put booths inside, but the place is still old and shabby. I think it's more for seniors and the senior specials. Waitress was no help in checking if we needed anything. I had high hopes for this place after it was sold, because it was mediocre before, but now it is just terrible. I'm better off eating fast food. UPDATE on 2/11/16: I went there again to see if there were any improvements. They did remodel the place somewhat and they added a small salad cart. However, the rolls were still stale and my dinner could not really be considered food. I had the meatloaf and it felt and tasted like oily rubber, with oil running out of it. It was so unusual that it did not taste like food at all. I was going to bump this up to two stars because of the remodel and basic salad cart, but after the meatloaf, forget it. What are they doing to their food to pass it along as edible? I'm not going back ever. Sorry, Woodside.
Food is fine service is fine. Portions are below average and pricing is reasonable. I have had several meals here and there is nothing wrong just nothing has created a wow for me.
Health Department needs to check this place. Stopped to eat breakfast when we were in the area. Ordered coffee while waiting for our meals...coffee was tasteless and bland but it did include a surprise gift. When I got to the bottom of the cup there was a piece of green stalk (looked like a green bean? floating in the bottom of the cup. My wife opened her utensils and had to scrape dried food off of them. We passed on eating (who wants to eat on dirty plates? and bailed out. If you run a respectable restaurant you have to clean the serving dishes.... Food may or may not be great, but I will never know because I won't ever go back. Pretty disgusting to find something in the bottom of your coffee... and who knows what lips were on the food that was stuck to my wife's fork and knife. Don't see a big future here.
