Contribuiți la feedbackThe food was delicious. We ordered the pork tangsooyuk, stir-fried noodles, and black bean sauce noodles. After placing our order at the counter, we sat down, and there was already water on the table. The dishes weren't greasy at all; the noodles were quite light. The portions were definitely large enough to share. Next time, I would order the pork along with just one noodle dish for two people.
The wait was a bit longer than expected, even though there were 2-3 tables available. Once we were seated, the service was just okay; they didn’t provide us with water or napkins, so we had to ask for them. As for the food, it was decent in flavor. The noodles were slightly overcooked, but overall it was good and tasty.
The food here is beautifully prepared. You can really taste the excellent 'wok-hei' (the flavor of the wok), which signifies authentic Asian cooking. The Chap Chae was particularly well-made. It’s not 100% traditional Korean—it's more of a Korean-Chinese fusion, with the usual adjustments made to suit American palates. Nevertheless, it's an excellent option overall. The restaurant was filled with Korean-speaking patrons, which is a great sign.
We had the Pork Jjajangmyeon and the Udon Noodle. The Udon was not as simple as Japanese udon, but it was very tasty with lots of vegetables and tasted almost the same as Nagasaki Chanpon in Japan.
We have been looking for a place that serves jjajangmyun and jjamppong. This place is one of the better ones in the area that we have found. The staff is Korean, which is a good sign. The portions are pretty large. The haemul jjamppong was full of seafood. The tangsuyuk came with a sauce that was a little different than what we were used to, but I enjoyed it. We enjoyed the yakult at the end of the meal.
