Prospector Pub - Rock Creek Hotel

We stopped there regularly and had lunch on the beautiful terrace. owners have changed and it is no longer recommended. wait an hour to get food, table dirty, eat cold, no cutlery, no salt in spicy, not everything was ordered on the table. Too... bath for such a beautiful place to be manipulated.

However, my soup was good. We left our burgers uneaten and only finished half of the sandwich of the day. The new owners should consider updating their menu for accuracy. It may be better to visit the PetroCan down the road, as they have a nice bakery deli inside the store.

This place is extremely dirty, the personal never properly cleaned. all the time when I and Hubby were there, they never wiped tables where the people were sitting. no social distancing has been done, masks that I guess are not obligatory? to make the things worse, we hear that the...staff covid had?! are they vaccinated, do I ask? we never come back here again. this is a serious health risk.

I met a group of friends on the terrace. we all had lunch and drinks. service was excellent, eating was great!

The Prospector has been around from almost before time! Every Second Friday is Karaoke night and our place to visit even with an hour's plus drive each way. The wait staff are fantastic taking the time to chat—awesome patio overlooking the river. If you...are worried about drinking too much to drive for you can have one of the rooms upstairs, which was pleasantly surprising, with a queen bed, large flat screen and DVD player. No big-time hotel here; borrow DVD on trust view and return. Yes, you have to share one single men's and ladies' bathroom with a single shower (lockable door, lol). You can even bring your four-legged friend to hang out upstairs in your room while you have fun. Our four little pups loved watching the Rock, lol. TAs far as the menu, the food is really good pub food with an awesome and huge Prospector salad. They will accommodate special menu requests. Drinks are poured just right, and at the end of the night, not that bad. For four drinkers, including food and bill was including a tip.
