The staff were wonderful and incredibly friendly. We did experience a lengthy wait for our food, but that was due to short staffing in the kitchen; they mentioned they were hiring to resolve the issue. So, it seems to be a temporary situation.
When I arrived, only two tables were occupied. I had to ask someone whether I should seat myself or wait, as I stood there for about seven minutes. The salmon was slightly undercooked for my taste and lacked seasoning. I ordered the butter garlic salmon, sautéed spinach, and steamed broccoli. The sides were well-seasoned, though.
In my opinion, this spot is a hidden gem in the Greene, Dayton. The ambiance, food, and service are all exceptional. The prices for food and drinks are quite reasonable! I've visited three times in the last two months, and each experience has been wonderful!
Marcus is one of the best server I have I had. I think better then Jay's Seafood. I will be back. The flatbread was great.Parking: Parked right across the street.
To begin with the service was not great. Only three waiters on staff for Valentine's Day. The food was not great either definitely not worth over 100$ for two people. After the fact both myself and my date had stomach pain, hers so bad it brought tears to her eyes. She had the chicken risotto which tasted alright but something was wrong with it. The ribeye was ok the fingerling potatoes had no flavor.
