1810 Tavern Eating House - Beaver

Great food and good beer selection. A little pricey and service can be dlow at times, but not always.

I had the shrimp pasta. It was very good. It was a bit of a wait on getting food, but I was with a very large party and they did warn there was only one person in the kitchen.

Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in the upper room in June! It is quaint and made for a lovely experience. The staff was friendly and on-task. The food was great too! The groomsmen went back later in the evening for some drinks in the courtyard... and liked the staff and the atmosphere so much that they went back again on our wedding night! The only downside is there was no air conditioning up there, but the fans were going. Made it a little toasty, but not unbearable.

Came to 1810 after a friends wedding with a large group of people from out of town, we showed up here at around 10p and although the kitchen was closed the staff was happy to make some quick snacks for our group. They were incredibly attentive and once they heard about our love for the paranormal, they even helped us to set the tone for a seance. Had a ton of laughs and an amazing time, this place really is a gem. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and the food was awesome! 10/10

Don't try them for takeout. First of all, they refuse to post an updated online menu, which is bizarre considering they have an active online presence on Facebook etc. We tried ordering takeout the other day, going off the menu posted on Yelp earlier this month, but they were out of 3 of the 5 dishes we wanted to order. It's so bizarre, considering their food is actually quite good (posting menus from when we ate here a few months ago). Why doesn't management stick to a menu and post it online for those of us who want to order takeout?
