The Char Haus - Beaver Dam

Wow, what a hidden gem! My friends took us there, and the food was outstanding. One of the specials was the bourbon-glazed salmon, which was incredible. We can't wait to return with more friends. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the servers were beautiful.

We visited this restaurant with another couple and we were all thoroughly impressed by the flavor and quality of the food. Our waitress was entertaining and very attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the pork chop, which was incredibly moist and tender with a phenomenal taste. I can't wait to go back and order it again! My husband enjoyed his prime rib and finished it quickly; he loved it. Our friends had the prime rib and scallops, and they also enjoyed their meals. The salad dressings were unique and delicious.

I absolutely love this restaurant, especially for their steaks and a server named Julie. The food is consistently excellent, and I’ve been a regular for years. The prices are also fantastic for the quality of the meals. Julie has served me for a long time, and I truly adore her—she feels like family to me. She’s brilliant at taking care of all her customers, but when I walk in, it feels like a family reunion, which I really cherish. If you’re looking for a delicious steak or an overall great meal with top-notch service, this is the place to be in Beaver Dam!

After we went to another branch in town and were not even recognized, we went to Char Haus instead. We are lucky that we were ignored in this other place because the staff here was very friendly, the food was great, and the interior is very beautiful. Do not leave the location at all (it is a bit an industrial and residential mix area), an excellent meal and great service await You inside! I also thought my wine selection was limited, WRONG. You have set up a small but GREAT wine list here. My wife and I loved our evening. I went with the Walleye Special they had, and it was made perfect, first prize Friday fish fry safe!

Had dinner there on a Thursday night. We both had steaks with baked potato and choice of soup or salad. 5 Star rating from us waitress was a veteran, friendly and very professional. Must say the steaks were the Best we have had in a long time. Cocktails where good too!!!!
