Since always this restaurant is an institution for our family!New visit today, the years pass the scenery does not change and quality neither. Gargantusque seafood tray and desserts on top.Best flat on lobsters, not sure they were not frozen. I enjoyed that although my 6-year-old son wanted to eat mussels not included in the child menu, it is not a problem and counted as a child menu. I recommend!
After reading the other opinions, I will be a joyful flap, but sincerely I was very disappointed by the seafood tray. 4 oysters, pink shrimp, grey, bigorneaux, jobs and 1/2 spider and langoustines. everything was bathing in the water I don't know what, maybe ice that they put underneath, but all being erected on each other difficult to take the grey and bigorneaux shrimp and everything was softened. As for lobsters, they had to be too cooked and unraveled in charpie when they were decorted. This address had been recommended to me, but it's on I'm not going back. I don't linger on the scene!!! positive point, a good welcome and my husband took the oysters and the fake net that was very good
If there were six stars I would give them. We arrived on a Sunday early afternoon in Ploubalay in a state of near despair as our attempts to get lunch in the nearby coastal village had met with a flat "complet". Our reception here could not have been more different. A cheerful friendly greeting was followed by the man at the bar "checking" to see if there was a table (i.e. fitting us in when they were already hectic busy). We had a nice aperitif and then were taken to a table on the terrace (beside the local police enjoying their Sunday lunch in uniform!). The recommended specialty of Choucroute de St Jacques a l'Andouille was heaven on a plate, though we were completely unable to manage anything else to eat afterwards. The desserts did look delicious at the neighbouring tables, but we just couldn't fit anymore in.As some people have mentioned this is like a trip back in time, and a very enjoyable one too!
Do not go for the deco or for the frame but go for a very good tray of fresh seafood. very good quality price. do not be afraid to eat in a pmu or the first impression is misleading.
